That's why I've created my 1-to-1 mentoring service: to help new copywriters learn SEO, sharpen their copywriting skills, and create profitable freelance businesses.

Ways I help freelance copywriters

I'm not just an experienced freelancer myself: I'm also a former agency owner who's hired and fired hundreds of  freelancer copywriters. I know what it takes to be successful.

Working together 1-to-1, I can help you:

  • Set your pricing
    Most freelancers REALLY struggle with this one. Price too high and you could put people off. Price too low and you risk going out of business.
  • Nail your positioning
    Received wisdom says you need a niche. I don't agree with that. I think what you need is a position. Let's show your ideal client why only you can help them.
  • Develop your skills
    You don't need me to tell you it's tough out there. "A way with words" is no longer enough. Successful freelance copywriters are AI-literate and SEO-savvy.
  • Create your systems
    Marketing, finance, admin, IT ... the list of hats you have to wear as a freelancer is endless. All this stuff needs good systems underpinning it to stop it from taking over.

HOW IT WORKS

Chatting

A 10-15 minute call just to say "hi" to each other and to make sure I'm the right person to help guide you along your freelance copywriting path. (And if I'm not, I'll tell you straightaway and try to refer you to someone else.)

Learning

I'll send you my onboarding form to help me learn a bit more about your unique strengths and challenges. I really want to understand WHY you feel compelled to become a freelance copywriter.

Mentoring

We'll set up regular sessions on Zoom (usually an hour every two weeks), working together to build an authentic, sustainable freelance copywriting business.

Reflecting

Between sessions, I'll ask you to spend time reflecting on specific points. Breaking down the overwhelm is essential if we're going to take your business from 'a nice idea' to your day-to-day reality.

The investment

My fee is £1,250 + VAT for a 12 week programme. This is usually six fortnightly sessions with agreed action points in-between, but I'll tailor it to your timeframe.

I am happy to offer payment plans if finding the whole fee at once is an issue. I'm a freelancer myself, so I'm no stranger to cashflow issues!

I also offer a full money-back guarantee up to and including our first session together, so if you feel I haven't helped you, I will refund your money.
